Registration Rates

Online Registration Instructions

You will have to log in to proceed with registration.

If you have previously created an account for yourself for any AMIA transaction and already have a password, click "Login" to register.

If you have not created an account for yourself yet, your default password is your AMIA ID (if you do not have your AMIA ID, please send an e-mail requesting your ID to mail@amia.org).

If you do not have an AMIA login, please click on "Create an Account."

If you are a full-time student, please select "Student" as your Individual Type, otherwise, student registration rates will not display.

The default registration type (reg. type in bold) is "Full." If you are registering for the webcast, please select "Webcast" in the dropdown menu.

Once you are properly logged in, you will be on the NI 2012 registration page. If you have any questions, please contact AMIA at mail.amia.org or call +1-301-657-1291. Webcast instructions will be sent via email once registration has been processed.

All dates & times are eastern time zone and all prices are in US dollars.

Registration will not be processed until payment in US dollars is received.

Pre-congress Tutorial Registration

Registration for tutorials is additional to the general symposium registration. Please note many tutorials are being held at the same time, so make sure to watch the times on the tutorials you choose to attend. More information

If you would prefer to register by mail or fax, download and make a hard copy of the registration form (Mail to AMIA 4720 Montgomery Lane, Suite 500 Bethesda, MD 20814 or fax to (301) 657-1296).

Regular registration fees cover all events except for pre-congress tutorials and the Gala dinner. Registration includes CD-ROM proceedings, registration bag with materials, continental breakfast, morning and afternoon coffee breaks, and the Welcome Reception.

Student Rates are for full-time students. They do not apply to part-time students. All students MUST present proof of student status by providing a letter from the university verifying current full-time enrollment in a degree or post-doctoral program at the time of NI2012 as well as expected graduation date.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of a conference registration does not constitute cancellation of a hotel room. Please be sure to handle both separately. Cancellation and refund requests must be received by AMIA in writing. By May 3, 2012: Full refund minus $75 processing fee. Between May 4, 2012 and June 7, 2012: 50% refund. After June 7, 2012: No refund will be issued. However, registrations can be transferred to another member of your organization.

Transfer of Paid Registrations Policy
Registrants who are unable to attend the congress may transfer their registration to another person. Transfer of registration must be in writing and received by the AMIA office by June 14, 2012 or presented on-site.

Payment
All payments must be in US dollars. On-line registration is for credit card payment only. If you would like to pay by check, purchase order, or wire transfer, send or fax the print registration form to the AMIA office at +1-301-657-1296.
